We’re excited to welcome back Austin Richard and Justine Sauvé-St-Pierre!
Austin previously worked with the group when he was working on his MSc thesis which focused on an investigation of the solid-state reduction and formation kinetics of gold nanoparticles from a gold-salt, using an aging mechanochemical method.
Now in his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Audrey Moores and Prof. Matthew Harrington, his research focus has shifted to studying the self-assembly of nanocrystalline biopolymers.
Justine previously worked with the group as an undergraduate research assistant and honours student, working alongside Juliana Vidal and Hamdam Gaminian on work valorizing chitin shell waste. Now in her MSc studies she will continue as a part of team chitin.
