As we wrap up summer, we say goodbye to Pravin Vejan, Kiran Hidyat, and Cassandre Béchir.

Pravin Vejan came to us from the University of Malaya in February, from the group of Rosazlin Abdullah with a Edu-Canada ASEAN-SEED Scholarship. He worked to complete the work for his PhD on the synthesis of slow release fertilizers. Great work was done and we can't wait for the results which will come in part from work in Malaysia.

Kiran Hidayat comes from Pakistan, but more locally from the Sucat ERASMUS program at Université de Poitiers on catalysis. She worked with Jasmine to study mechanochemical plastic degradation and made great strides!

Cassandre Béchir is a visiting MSc Student from École de Biologie Industrielle. She worked with Ruby Liu to further develop her Q dot project this summer!
